For a better world for an optimum Lebanon

The United Nations Organization (UN) was a hopeful vision shared by humanity to save mankind from annihilation by wars and conflicts.
The vision became reality and developed into an international organization based on the principles of justice, equality, freedom and peace for each citizen of the world.
A world wide popular movement gave support and continuity to the UN. This movement became known as WFUNA - World Federation of United Nations Associations - which derived its main principles from the UN. Thus it became a legitimate representation of the UN.

Most of the work that was provided by the UN, its specialized agencies and its regional commissions, was successful in establishing values essential for world guidance. These values center around the ideas which govern Human rights, such as helping people who are oppressed, and countries which are violated by aggression or subversive acts. The aim of the UN is to promote and protect the lives of individuals in an atmosphere of dignity and freedom. Therefore, it is imperative for the UN to have a universal and effective role in carrying out its mission.

As for Lebanon, it played no role in the UN up to half a century ago. However, with my humble efforts and the support of Dr. Marek Hagmajer Secretary General of the WFUNA, it became possible to chart a path for Lebanon and induct him as an effective member in the world community.

Now, UNA of Lebanon is active in providing and defending the Human Rights (HR) of the Lebanese people and people of other nations.
